Abstract:
With the continuous exploration and development of oil and gas resources in Northern Shaanxi, the geotechnical characteristics of Maowusu Desert Aeolian sand has gradually become a problem haltering local engineering construction. This paper conducted consolidated undrained dynamic triaxial strength tests of the Maowusu Desert saturated Aeolian sand with different dry densities and confining pressures; The tests were made under isotropic consolidation condition, and pore water pressure failure criterion was used. Based on the experimental results, the dynamic strength curves and the dynamic pore water pressure developing curves were obtained. Considering the infinite loop dynamic load feature of natural gas compressor, the equivalent dynamic shear strength parameters were obtained and the corresponding failure criterion was established based on Mohr-Coulomb criterion.
