Abstract:
The newly developed OpenFresco software makes several finite element softwares available for hybrid tests, and has been introduced into hybrid testing system for the ability of accurately and economically analyzing the seismic performance of structures. By using the OpenFresco software, many experimental control objects are available for the hybrid systems. This paper proposes one hybrid testing system by using the finite element software OpenSees, interface software OpenFresco, experimental control LabVIEW and controller dSpace, and validates the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed hybrid testing system numerically and experimentally. It is shown that the OpenSees, OpenFresco, LabVIEW and dSpace can work well together to conduct hybrid tests, and the proposed hybrid testing system has excellent performance in terms of stability and accuracy.
