Abstract:
It deals with the calibration method of concrete damage plasticity model (CDPM) applicable for steel-polypropylene hybrid fiber reinforced concrete (HFRC) based on ABAQUS FE software. The calibration includes the determination of parameters in yield criterion and plastic potential function, as well as the definition of uniaxial stress-strain relations. The influences of respective CDPM parameters on the simulation results are discussed. The applicability of the proposed calibration method is validated by typical comparisons between the simulation output and experimental data from literature, where the mechanical behavior of FRC materials under multiaxial loadings and seismic performance of HFRC column subjected to reverse loadings are simulated. It is shown that the CDPM with appropriate constitutive parameters can provide accurate estimation of the nonlinear behavior of HFRC, and the developed approach can serve as a reference for precise design and analysis of HFRC structural performance under complex loadings.
