Abstract:
Taking the ±800kV ultra-high voltage (UHV) transmission project begging constructed from XiangJiaBa to ShangHai, and from JinPing to SuNan as the research background, and according to the feature that the wind-induced response of transmission tower is complex, aeroelastic model wind tunnel tests and high frequency force balance (HFFB) tests are performed. According to the deficiencies in HFFB technique and quasi-steady suppose of pulse wind, a method for simulating spatially distributed wind forces acting on transmission tower is presented. The wind-induced response analysis for the transmission tower has been done, and compared with the aeroelastic model wind tunnel tests results. The actual observations demonstrate that the spatial distribution characteristics of the wind loading of the transmission tower can be effectively investigated by using the presented approach. The method can extend the application of HFFB technique in wind tunnel tests, and reflect the across-wind-induced response of the transmission tower accurately.
