Abstract:
According to the characters of actual slope failure, the slope was divided into a plastic area and a rigid area, at sometime, the discontinuous stress fields and velocity fields were constructed by analyzing their stress conditions and velocity conditions. Based on the deductions of the upper and lower bound theorems, the model of calculation was built, the stress field and the corresponding mobile field were obtainen by the numerical calculation to solve three kinds of boundary value problems. Although it will be computed many times, but the numerical solution can satisfy all stress and the velocity boundary conditions, it is an exact solution. In addition, the influences of the soil properties on the slope bearing capacity are numerically investigated. The computational results show that the approach to solve the slope bearing capacity problem is available.
