Abstract:
A general numerical model to identify parameters for inverse couple-stress problem with the least-square method is presented. A FE (Finite Element) model is given, with the consideration of inhomogeneity and facilitating to sensitivity analysis for direct and inverse problems as well as the employment of G-N method. The Isotropic and anisotropic couple-stress problem are considered, including a preliminary investigation of effect of noise data on the results. The satisfactory numerical validation is given. The inverse equivalent computation is also conducted based on the couple-stress theory for grid materials. The parameters of equivalent materials are given by using inverse methods with known information. Numerical examples are given with compared results.
