模拟P波向无穷远域传播的一致边界

A CONSISTENT BOUNDARY FOR SIMULATING P-WAVE PROPAGATION INTO IN-PLANE INFINITE MEDIA

  • 摘要: 将人工边界设置在半无穷层单元和内部有限元区域的交界面上,建立了半无穷层单元的刚度矩阵后,得到了边界节点的动力平衡方程。任意给定激励圆频率,将边界节点系统的动力平衡方程转化为特征值方程。求解特征值方程得出边界节点系统的特征值和特征模态,利用模态叠加原理得到体现左半无穷层单元和右半无穷层单元对内部有限元区域作用的边界矩阵,这就是该文的一致边界。将其与内部有限元区域的刚度矩阵进行组装来模拟无穷远域介质对波的传播作用。最后用数值算例来说明一致边界的精确性和可行性。

     

    Abstract: Artificial boundaries are imposed on the vertical boundaries between exterior semi-infinite layered element zones and interior finite element zone. After deducing the semi-infinite layered element stiffness matrix, the dynamic equation of boundary nodes is obtained and is transformed into an eigenvalue problem with given excitation frequency. Eigenvalues and corresponding eigenvectors are obtained by solving the eigenvalue formulation. Boundary matrixes, embodying right-left exterior infinite media’s effect on the interior finite element zone, are obtained by mode superposition principle, viz. the consistent boundary condition. Boundary matrixes are assembled with the stiffness matrix of interior finite element to simulate P-wave propagation into in-plane infinite media. Numerical example demonstrates the accuracy and reliability of the consistent boundary.
