Abstract:
The dynamic shearing modeling experiments are conducted with the various thickness of the waterproof layer, the temperature and the thickness of the pavement. The mechanisms of the shearing performance are studied, between the crumb rubber modified asphalt waterproofing layer and the concrete deck, and between the crumb rubber modified asphalt waterproofing layer and asphalt concrete pavement. The influence of waterproofing layer thickness, temperature, pavement thickness on shearing performance at interface is also investigated. It is shown that the best thickness of crumb rubber modified asphalt water proofing layer is 1.5mm, and that the shearing strength declines when temperature goes up. And the thickness of pavement has not much influence on interface shearing strength. The best water proofing material is crumb rubber modified asphalt.
