Abstract
A modeling method of the dynamic characteristics with multi-hysteresis loops of polymer seat cushions is investigated. Based on the analysis of the dynamic characteristic test results of a foam cushion, quasi-static and dynamic component sub-models for the nonlinear dynamic characteristics of the cushion are constructed, and the model parameter identification is performed. Using the concept of hysteresis offset, a nonlinear characteristic model of quasi-static components is established. Using the fractional derivative, a simple and precise dynamic component sub-model is established. The superpositional nonlinear characteristic representation of the static and dynamic sub-models is verified with a series of experimental results, showing the effectiveness of the modeling method.
