A REFINED ANALYTICAL MODEL FOR STUDYING THE MAPPING RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN RAIL GEOMETRY AND LATERAL BRIDGE DEFORMATION OF HIGH-SPEED RAILWAY

  • The piers and bearings will inevitably produce certain residual deformations after a strong earthquake, causing geometric irregularities of the rails, which directly affects the running safety and comfort of the train. Based on the principle of stationary potential energy, the analytical expression of the mapping between the lateral deformation of CRTS-II longitudinal continuous ballastless track and the lateral bridge deformation is derived. An analytical mapping model that can consider the stiffness contribution of each component between layers is proposed. The analytical mapping model is verified by the finite element model and the other analytical models in literatures. The influence of the interlayer components on the lateral mapping rail deformation is quantitatively analyzed. The results show that: the mapping rail deformation under the girder fault shows obvious asymmetry, and the characteristic subsequent to the deformation of the girder is inferior. Fasteners have little effect on the mapping rail deformation. The CA mortar layer has a great influence on the amplitude of the mapping rail deformation under the girder fault. However, the CA mortar layer has a weaker effect on the mapping rail deformation range than the sliding layer. The shear grooves have the greatest influence on the mapping rail deformation, followed by the lateral blocks. The influence of shear rebar on mapping rail deformation is negligible. The flexural stiffness of the girder has a certain influence on the deformation range of the rail mapping, but the influence on the amplitude of mapping rail deformation is almost negligible.
