EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON A HYDRAULIC FILL MUD FOUNDATION TREATED BY DYNAMIC DRAINAGE CONSOLIDATION

The hydraulic fill mud foundation treated by dynamic drainage consolidation was applied in the petrochemical area of Daya Bay. The paper introduces the recent experiment on this technique. It may greatly enhance the mechanical properties and the deformation capacity of the soft ground, shorten the engineering period and save the engineering cost. The research results may provide valuable references for similar engineering projects.
