ANALYSIS ON ENGINEERING GEOLOGICAL STRUCTURE AND ISSUES IN JINAN CITY

The strata of Jinan have been well developed.The engineering characteristics of different layers of rock and soil vary greatly. Based on the regional tectonics，the geological structural features and basic geotechnical characteristics of Jinan City are discussed. The causes of springs are discussed, measures of protecting spring are proposed and the evaluation of foundation suitability are discussed. In view of the engineering geological problem of Jinan, the comprehensive treatment measure is put forward，the results are beneficial in engineering construction.
