FINITE ELEMENT METHOD FOR ANALYSIS OF SFRC INDUSTRIAL GROUND FLOORS

  • The finite-element method is used to analyze the full range stress and deformation behavior of the steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) industrial ground floors. Using revised Willam-Warnke’s five-parameter failure criterion for SFRC under multiaxial stress state, considering the nonlinear behavior of SFRC and the temperature stress due to temperature difference in slabs, etc, the deflection-load curve of slab, ultimate load capacity, and crack propagation are obtained. The analytical results are found to agree well with test observations, validating the reliability of the FEA model.
