Abstract
Based on the mooring physical model experiment for a specified ship, the motions and dynamic response of Anti-typhoon buoy SPM (single point mooring) system under the separate or collective action of wind wave and flow are studied. The influences of surrounding factors (including strong wind, wave and flow) and mooring line length & stiffness on the motions and dynamic reactions of the system are researched. The study finds that the coupling effect exists in the case of collective action of wind wave and flow. The countermeasures to reduce the tractive force are also discussed. It provides necessary fundamental data for the study and application of Anti-typhoon SPM system, and serves as a comparatively valuable reference for ship operation in typhoon.
