This paper is intended to make a comprehensive analysis of the cited articles in the leading periodical Engineering Mechanics(in Chinese) over the last 11 years(1995-2005-April).It is focused on systematical investigation and analysis of a variety of distributions such as citation frequence,authors and years of the cited articles as well as the cited periodicals.It reveals the objective state how the journal serves the readers for reference.
