This paper studies the constructional features, boundary conditions and application requirements of the twin shear strength model. Firstly, the multiaxial strength relationship is derived based on the three-, four- and six-parameter models. Then, the simplified strength model is established to facilitate structural analysis under proportional loading. At last, the proposed multiaxial strength model is proved to be valid.
