RESEARCH ON LIQUEFACTION RESISTANCE OF COMPOSITE SUBGRADE FORSOIL-CEMENT COLUMNS

By the shaking table test, the macro-liquefaction of the foundation reinforced by cement-soil piles and the one unreinforced was observed. And the variation law of the pore water pressure，the pore water pressure ratio and settlement of the foundation were analyzed. It is found that the soil-cement column could provide a beneficial effect both on the resistance to liquefaction and reduction of subgrade settlements.
