Abstract
The structure and fluid finite element methods were combined by using the Multi-Euler Solid-Fluid interaction analysis technique. The Finite Element impacting model of a liquid tank container was established to analyze the dynamic response of railway impact. In this study, both air and water were treated as compressible fluid and their properties were modeled through the equation of states. The sloshing situation and pressure-time curves of liquid in impacting process were obtained. The acceleration results calculated were validated with testing results, which conclude that dynamic analytical results are mostly accordant with that of actual situations.
