Abstract
Primary resonance of current-carrying conductor subjected to harmonic excitation and ampere force system are studied. The Duffing equation of the system is established by means of principles in dynamics. According to the method of multiple scales for nonlinear vibrations, the approximation solution for primary resonance of the system is obtained. Numerical analysis on the influence of current, detuning, tension, and excitation applied on the system is carried out.
