FREE VIBRATION, BUCKLING AND BENDING ANALYSES OF ANISOTROPIC SKEW PLATES WITH FREE EDGES USING FOURIER SERIES

Abstract
The accurate analytical-type solutions are obtained by Fourier series for the free vibration, the buckling and the bending of anisotropic skew plates with free edges subjected to uniformly distributed in-plane normal and shear forces. First five Double-Fourier series-type superposition solutions are given and then six solutions with various boundaries are obtained, including cantilever plate and completely free plate etc., by utilizing the superposition method. The covergence of the solutions is investigated in several typical cases and is found to be satisfactory. The accuracy of the results is campared with that of the exising results based on other accurate analytical-type methods and is found to be in good agreement.
