Deflections of A Circular Plate Resting on Winkler Subgrade Solved By The Boundary Element Method

Abstract
In this paper the deflections of a circular plate with free edge and subjected to a concentrated load as well as a uniformly distributed load resting on Winkler subgrade are solved by the Indirect Boundary Element Method. Deflection curves of various loadings are given. Singular integrals occurred in the calculation are shown in detail by using the integration by parts to eliminate the singularities.
