A CRACK ANALYSIS OF CONCRETE ROAD WITH EXCAVATION OF DEEP FOUNDATION PIT

  • The ground sinking depth and width with the excavation of deep foundation pits are calculated by nonlinear FEM. Based on three-point-bending model, the crack of concrete road is simulated and the model of road sinking is established for the first time. The results of the experiment indicate that ground sinking has great influence on road crack. If the ground sinking width attains the maximum value, the road will be damaged. Using the three-point-bending model, the results are shown to be in good agreement with practical case.
