Abstract
Based on the boundary conditions at the elastic solid-ideal fluid interface and the free surface of fluid layer, the theoretical formulas for determining the refraction and reflection coefficients at the interface are derived in terms of the displacement potentials. With the formulas, the effects of the elastic modulus and density of the elastic half-space medium, and the incident angle and frequency of input P-wave on the dynamic pressure in the fluid are analyzed in a few numerical examples.
