STRUCTURAL EVALUATION BASED ON FUZZY INFERENCE SYSTEM

  • This paper discusses the fuzzy inference procedures in the decision support system for selection of target structures. Based on Self-Organizing-Feature-Map retrieval unit and fuzzy logic evaluation subsystem, the fuzzy appraising standard of height adaptability for high-rise building structures is put forward and applied to the fuzzy inference system (FIS). The inference process of a shear-wall structure's height adaptability is given. It is shown that the use of FIS as the evaluation modulus is satisfactory in the decision support system for selection of target structures.
