A new passive control system, Structural Passive Stiffness-shift Control System, is proposed in this paper. The formation and control mechanism of this new system are introduced and a model is established for the structural analysis of the system. The numerical simulation of a single-degree-of-freedom structure with the control system demonstrates the good vibration-absorbing effects of the system.
