P-D-εCURVE OF CONCRETE AND ITS CUMULATIVE DAMAGE CHARACTERISTICS UNDER FATIGUE LOADING

  • In this paper,P-D-ε curves of concrete are defined to describe probabilistic relationships between damage quantity and fatigue strain in various specified survival probabilities. The fatigue tests of 86 groups of C15 concrete specimens were done with MTS 810 TestStar and 3-parameter Weibull distribution of the fatigue strains was established and used as a base of calibration of the curve. The curves offer a convenient and effective way to investigate the relationships among the probabilistic damage quantity, the probabilistic damage threshold strain, and the destructive limit strain of the concrete and to assess survival life of a concrete structure.
