  • The strength of excavator 2100BL's dipper handle is studied using Super SAP computer code in this paper. Maximum equivalent stresses in different working conditions are obtained. The results are shown to be in good agreement with the No.49 maintenance announcement of P&H Company, USA. It provides the basis for further structural design improvement on the handle.
