STUDY ON THE CHARACTER OF GENERALIZED POCIIHAMMER FREQUENCY SPECTRUM

This paper investigated the axially symmetric compressional wave in an infinite hollow circular pipe perfectly cohered with surrounding matrix. The generalized Pochhammer frequency equation was presented, and the corresponding frequency spectrum curves in some range of frequency were given. Numerical results show that material parameters and geometry criteria have both important influences on the spectrum character.
