INFLUENCE OF THE GRAIN SILO'S ELASTICDEFORMATION ON UNLOAD DYNAMIC PRESSSURE

It is well-known in practice that grain silo wall undergoes elastic deformation when it is unloaded. This paper is concerned with the influence of the elastic deformation and its spreading on the dynamic pressure. The feasibitity of the pressure modifying coefficient is addressed and a reasonable value of the coefficient is suggested.It is believed that the present result may offeruseful guideline to engineering design.
