INVESTIGATION ON THE CHARACTER OF 3D FLOW FIELD AND PRESSURE DROP

Velocity and pressure profiles in a Stairmand high efficiency cyclone experimental model ed and without Repds are presented. The change of tangential velocity, axial velocity, static pressure and total pressure is closely linked to the change of pressure drop in cyclone. The pressure drop can be reduced by readjusting the distribution of velocity and pressure.
