VIBRATION ANALYSIS OF RECTANGULAR THIN PLATE WITH HOLES USING THE TRIANGULAR THIN PLATE GENERALIZED CONFORMING ELEMENT

  • The vibration problem of rectangular thin plate with hole is analyzed with the theory of triangular generalized comforming element in the present paper. The advantages of the method are of less degrees of freedom, higher precision and easier to be programmed. In the paper, the frequency coefficients of simply supported and clamped square plate with a central square hole are given. The results are conformed with those in Reference5.
