ON AXISYMMETRIC DEFORMATION ANALYSIS OF A FINITE COMPOSITE SHAFT LINING

Abstract
In thes paper, the problem of deformation analysis of a finite composite shaft lining is investigated under arbitrary axisymmetric normal loads and tangential loads. The solution is obtained by Pickett's double series expansion method1-Fourier series and Fourier-Bessel series. The coefficients of each term in one series can be expressed by the coefficients of the other series, using the boundary and contact conditions. Final solution is obtained from the solution of these simultaneous equations. Numerical results are given and compared with those obtained from the plane model.
