In this paper, numerical analysis of the general twin shearing stress yielding criterion was discussed on the base of . The formulas of the weighted coefficient b and the numerical calculation are derived in terms of τ_s/σ_s value. The range of the weighted coefficient b of the general twin shearing stress yielding criterion can be obtiaind and the Mises yielding criterion can be linearly replaced by it.
