A SIMPLIFIED APPROACH OF LOAD TRANSFER ANALYSIS FOR RIGID PAVEMENT JOINT

The relation between the confficients used in interlock model and shear bending beam model in load transfer analysis of rigid pavement joint is established in this paper. The relation obtained is demonstrated through numerical analysis which shows that one model may replace another model in the joint load transfer analysis. Finally a simplified approach to the pavement joint load transfer analysis is provided.
