MULTIGRID COMPOUND DIRECT ITERATION ALGORITHM FOR SOLVING ELASTO-HYDRODYNAMICALLY LUBRICATED LINE CONTACT PROBLEMS

A newlydeveloped algorithm, multilevel method(also called multigrid method)is presented for the calculation of the elasto-hydrodynamically lubricated(EHL) line contact problems,It is combined with the mode of the compound direct iteration effective in solving EHL contact problems, to make the process rapid, stable and with high precision,This method can also be extended to solve other numerical problems of coupling fields.
