STRENGTH THEORY OF GENERALIZED PRINCIPAL DEVIATOR STRESS

In this paper, based on the the idea of deviator stress state and the effects of hydraulic stress for material strength, a new version of generalized principal deviator stress strength criterion was obtained. The present theory is compared it with the original strength theory and satisfactory results are obtained.
