In this paper,a general solution for plates is derived from 3-D L-N equations of elastic body.As examples,two boundary-value problems of a semi-infinite plate and a semi-infi-nite strip are formulated.The variations of boundary stresses and displacements along the thickness of plates are reflected in the present method.
