A MODEL OF DYNAMIC PROGRAMMING OF REPAIRING STRATEGIES FOR EXISTING STRUCTURES

Using a semi Markov process model to characterize the recurrence of violent earthquakes, a model of dynamic programming of repairing strategies for existing structures is proposed. The effect of the steel rusting on the structural resistance is also considered. The "Branch and Bound Method" and safety classification method of structures are used to analyze the reliability of the structure system. The practicability of the model is tested by a simple frame structure.
