Abstract

Without imposing any assumptions, the state equations are derived and solved at first from the three-dimensional equations of equilibrium. the strain -displacement relations and tares-strain relations. A unified is given in order to solve the bending and thermal bending problems of thin plates, moderately thick plates and thick plates.
