FINITE ELEMENT-ITERATIVE METHOD

This paper presents an iterative method of structural variation based on finite element analysis. The derivation of the formulae and a numerical example were given. Problems of the convergence speed were also discussed. In calculating a new structure with variation by the above method, the time can be saved despite whether the structural variation field is a big one or a small one, thus the limitation of the application of generalized variation theorem can be overcome.
