EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF THE FRACTAL JOINTS

In this paper, the "Fractal Test Method"was applied for the first time to the experiments on the artifical fractal joint samples. The effects of different roughness (different dimension) of the synthesized rough joints on the mechanical properties were studied in detail under uniaxial compression and compression-shear loading, from which some new conclusions have been drawn.
