Abstract
Basic solutions for infinite plate with two sides simply supported subjected to bending as well as to plane stress are first presented. Then the basic solutions and the method of singular points exterior to domain are applied for analysis of rectangular plates with two sides simply supported subjected to transverse as well as to in-plane loadings. Numerical examples are given. It is shown that the proposed method can generate solutions with high accuracy at little computing cost.
