APPLICATION OF GRAPHIC OBJECT RECOGNIZATION IN THE SPECIFICATION OF STRUCTURE INFORMATION

Automatic specification of structural models on computers has been anticipated strongly since the finite element method was used in structural analysis . However, the difficulties of algorithms in recognization impeded the realization. This paper presents the efforts of the authors to reach the objective. The algorithms of recognization and the concepts of modeling are also illustrated.
