  • In this paper, a method with clearly physical meaning for stochastic response of non-proportionally damped linear system, based on random vibration theory,are proposed. For the system in which the tunning effect does not exist,a simplified formula is obtained, which is identical with that for proportionally damped linear system in mathematical form.
