  • In this paper, thermal Ratcheting mechanism R1 and R2 (stress/strain variational process and its regularity) in the thin-walled cylindrical shells subjected to biaxial stress and cyclic temperature distribution has been investigated by using elastic-plastic finite element analysis under cyclic loading.
