ANALYSIS OF AXIAL RESPONSE OF ONE-DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURE BY FLEXIBILITY TRANSFER METHOD

In this paper, concepts of up arid down flexibility of nodal-points in one-dimensional structure are presented. Based on these concepts, axial transfer formulas of up and dowo flexibility of the nodal-points are derived from the equilibrium for the nodal-points and the compatibilityfor the elements. Then the flexibility transfer method is developed, by which static and dynamic response of one-dimensional structure could be determined.
