THE NONLINEAR ANALYSIS OF THE SHALLOW SPHERICAL SHELLS WITH VARIABLE THICKNESS

In this paper,we analyse the shallow spherical shells with variable thickness by the boundary element method.After introducing the equivalent load q with respect to (N,W, H).We reduce the problem to the analysis of a thin plate.The results with satisfactory pricision can be obtained even when fewer degree of freedom are implemented.
