BOUNDARY ELEMENT SOLUTION FOR KIRCHHOFF'S CRACKED PLATE

  • In this paper, a special fundament solution for cracked plate is presented in terms of complex function theory. This fundamental solution has satisfied free crack boundary conditions. When it is taken in integral equations, plate bending problems can be calculated only out boundary of the plate should be discretized. The method in this paper can also be applied to some situation of plate bending problems with non-regular shape crack or hole.
