Abstract
In this paper, the stiffness matrices of element for frame retaining structure for prevention of landslide are developed with utilizing the differential equations for defletion of Winkler's beam and matrice displacement method. These stiffness matrices can be used to determine single pile, beam on elastic foundation and frames on or underground. Caculation examples show that results of finite element method are very close approximation to those of the mathematical analysis.
