Abstract
The imaginary source approach in the transformed coordinates is used to obtain the Green function of the problem of SH wave propagation in an anisotropic elastic half space with rigid boundary at the bottom. Then, the solution of the problem by using the boundary element method is formulated. Results of numerical calculation of response of elastic layer with circular cylindrical cavity under linear load are given.
